This course is for Somers Yacht Club members who are keen to volunteer driving patrol boats for sailing events. This is a 4 hr course run by Peninsula Boat Training on Saturday 24th Feb, starting at 8:30am. Three and a half hours of learning the information and then you take the test. Once you pass, you take your certificate to VicRoads and pay for your licence. The course is heavily subsidised by SYC to keep our volunteer roster full and drivers coming on race days.

Ages 12 -16 can gain a restricted licence and 16 plus an unrestricted marine licence.
