To be a part of our Somers Yacht Club community means being an active member, taking responsibility, contributing to the club and supporting others.

There are so many ways you can do this as our sailing events are run fully by volunteers. Training is available for people who are keen to learn new skills and want to feel more competent.

The link above will be open for members to add their name to until the start of the season. We want to offer you flexibility and choice of when you can share your time and skills to help at the club. After Opening day the link will still be live but only viewed by you. Our Sailing Committee will be able to edit and update any changes needed. If you have not added your name yourself, our patrol boat roster coordinator and tower coordinator will allocate a time for you to volunteer.
